    SALARY: $66,560 - $68,000

    SHIFT: Monday-Friday from 9am to 6pm (flexible in/out time)

    ROLE SUMMARY:
    The People (HR) Specialist provides assistance for all Human Resources related initiatives, ensuring that the company culture is proactive, follows compliance, and advances practices that promote an atmosphere of continuous improvement and growth. Areas of oversight may include, but are not limited to: employee relations, benefits, payroll, engagement and performance management.

    JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

    • Coordinates new hire onboarding process by ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and managing timely access to email and systems/software.
    • Assists in coordination of open enrollment and annual engagement programs and initiatives.
    • Assists in responding to HR inquiries including, but not limited to: benefits, FMLA, company policy, payroll/pay, ad hoc requests (badges, business cards, etc.)
    • Maintains HRIS (Workday) data ensuring accurate information.
    • Assists with guidance on organization/people issues and recommends policy decisions to improve organizational culture.
    • Administers aspects of performance management.
    • Maintains a close and positive relationship with multiple departments and employee populations.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A general knowledge of Human Resources principles.
    • Excellent ability to network, collaborate, and bring people together.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office related software.
    • Knowledge of the beer, brewing and hospitality industry is ideal, but not required.
    • Excellent people skills with the proven ability to motivate team members.
    • Strong analytic skills with an ability to analyze complex situations.
    • An ability to quickly adapt to change/changing situations.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelors degree and 1-2 years of Human Resources experience.
