- Working on electrolyzer device integration, including understanding the impact of integration processes (compression, gasketing, etc.) on performance.
- Modeling electrochemical devices.
- Improving cell performance and optimisation.
- Work as a subject matter expert for the R & D team.
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in measuring, analyzing, and enhancing electrochemical devices, with a focus on electrolyzers. Experience with fuel cells, electrochemical compressors, and flow batteries is also valued.
- Proven ability to thrive in and lead a collaborative team environment
- Strong drive for materials and technology innovation
- Minimum of three years of relevant R&D experience
- Four or more years of industrial R&D experience in a relevant technology space
- Understanding of how cell components (BPP, MPL, membrane, etc.) influence electrolyzer performance
