    KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBain Capital is looking for an experienced compensation professional who will be responsible for supporting the compensation program for our Double Impact, Life Sciences, Tech Opportunities, Real Estate, Crypto and Ventures business units.

    This position will report directly to the Head of Total Rewards and will play a vital role in leading compensation design, modeling and analysis, competitive benchmarking, compensation planning/forecasting, management of the year-end and mid-year compensation salary and bonus cycles for assigned business units.

    This individual will need to collaborate with senior leadership including various business unit leaders, HRBPs and members of finance.

    Day-to-day responsibilities within assigned business unit(s) include:Participate in the development of Bain Capitals compensation strategy and related employee communications regarding compensation programs including the development of a competitive compensation structure and consistent approach to pay decisions for all levels across the organizationCollaborate with business unit and HRBPs to provide leadership and guidance on annual compensation reviews, bonus planning, and carried interest awards as well as to develop competitive offers including base salary, incentive compensation, equity, etc.

    Exercise critical thinking and excellent technical & business writing skills to synthesize the results of complex analysis into salient points important to senior leadership.

    Make data-driven recommendationsRecommend appropriate solutions to specific compensation related issues as needed to support the businessManage and provide mentorship to junior compensation professionals to further growth of the teamCreate materials/spreadsheets on compensation and analysis for executive meetings ability to attend and present when requiredPreparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reportsRespond to compensation data inquiries from managers and employees throughout the organizationCollaborate with Finance on compensation expense modelsGENERAL QUALIFICATIONSStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organizationExperience with incentive plan design, equity program managementA leader that can manage in and be agile in a fast-paced, hands-on culture with strong expectations on deliverables.

    Highly analytical experience coupled with ability to execute and communicate. Prior management experienceAbility to develop and adapt compensation strategies that deliver on the unique needs of the businessStrong analytic skills with the ability to gather key insights from quantitative and qualitative data to drive compensation decisionsCollaborative mindset with proven communication, presentation and influencing skills facile on developing PowerPoint slides that tell a storyExcellent attention to detailDemonstrated ability to manipulate, manage and formulate data in Excel (Vlookup, Indexing, Sumproduct, Pivot Tables, Graphs/Charts)


    Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects at once, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with discretionDESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATIONBachelors degree required12 years of previous experience in an analytical Compensation role, preferably in the financial services industry.

    Solid understanding of financial concepts (e.g.
