    Our organization is on a mission to help save lives and provide opportunity to people suffering from chronic and severe mental illness.

    We have a multitude of different treatment services that we've been using for over 60 years to provide care to the community that needs it most.

    You would be working with mostly adult patients suffering from severe mental illness and substance abuse problems. There would be no direct on call and the hours are 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.

    Salary:
    $200,000 to $220,000Responsibilities:

    Conduct psychological, social and behavioral assessments of the patients.
    Perform psychiatric evaluation of patients and develop different diagnostic procedures.
    Develop treatment plan and recommend medications and therapy for patients.
    Work with other therapists to provide patient psychiatric services.
    Monitor patient's progress and maintain documentations for the same.
    Ensure that medical facility is maintained clean and safe for patients.
    Obtain patient's health history and medical problems that are required for diagnosis.
    Work with interdisciplinary team to conduct patients mental and physical examinations.
    Provide assistance to other physicians and clinical staffs about psychiatric treatments.
    Maintain high level of professionalism and competence in clinical duties.
    Maintain positive working relationships with patients and their families

    Requirements:
    Graduate of accredited Psychiatry Residency Program (MD/DO)
    Active or in process New York state Medical license
    Preferred 2 years Attending Psychiatrist experience
    DEA License (Active or in process)
    Good interpersonal skills
