- Conducts the licensed evaluation and assessments and determines medical necessity. (Depending on licensure)
- Develops and implements clinically appropriate treatment plans and all related documentation for client records.
- Provides psychotherapy and all CFTSS services under OLP and CPST services to clients and their families using individual, group, family intervention modes
- Implements approved evidenced-based treatment modality to fidelity, in various settings, including site-based, home, or other community-based settings in Westchester County.
- Ensures the safety of clients and their families by taking immediate action to threats to welfare by providing crisis intervention when needed.
- Anticipates customer needs and provides information services and support to clients, client families, other family members, visitors, colleagues, community service providers, and others to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., schools, protective services, etc.) connected to the client and maintains records of communications.
- Documents all sessions and contacts with families and collaterals according to OLP and CFTSS service manuals and agency-guidance.
- Maintains knowledge and adherence of the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) and Children's Mental Health Rehabilitation Services (CMHRS) regulations as they relate to clinical practice.
- Supports overall strategic plan of the organization.
- Ability to adhere to our organization's core values and commitments.
- Licensable professional degree (LMSW, LP-LMHC, LP-LMFT) required.
- Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescence, and families.
- Desire to learn and implement trauma-informed care and evidence-based Interventions
- High organizational and time-keeping skill to be able to work in the field autonomously
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge of electronic health record systems

Job DescriptionJob Overview of Clinician - Community Based - Per DiemThe Community-based Clinician provides direct clinical services (evaluations, assessments, treatment, individual, family, and or group interventions) as the primary clinician to individuals referred to Andrus through our central intake team. The Community-based Clinician provides onsite and community-based comprehensive assessments and treatment using a trauma-responsive, whole-person care approach to individuals and families to ensure they receive quality services that best meet their needs. This clinician will be trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and work with referred children and their families in their homes (or in an office or community-setting that is conducive to therapy and is their choice).
