Job Summary
Under general supervision performs semi-skilled work maintaining equipment grounds at City golf course including irrigation related work applying fertilizers pesticides reports to Golf Course Superintendent.Responsibilities
- Operates light tractors specialized mowing equipment string trimmers mows tee boxes fairways rough greens etc.
- Maintains repairs all golf course equipment grinds reels performs ring jobs replaces head gaskets cleans rebuilds carburetors on engines adjusts reels belts chains on mowers repairs replaces tires.
- Greases oils sharpen blades performs various other preventive maintenance ready equipment use backlaps reel.
- Maintains equipment record books.
