Cordova is seeking a dynamic, sales-focused Premier Banker on behalf of our client, a leading financial institution known for its commitment to community and employee well-being. This is a strategic role designed for a high-performing professional who excels at identifying, developing, and acquiring high-value consumer deposit relationships.

As a Premier Banker, you will act as a brand ambassador, driving growth through proactive outreach, community engagement, and targeted sales efforts. You will serve as a key partner to market teams and Regional Retail Managers, focusing on building long-term client loyalty and providing personalized financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Growth

  • Strategic Acquisition: Proactively source new consumer and small business deposit relationships through outbound calling, networking, and referrals.

  • Product Focus: Execute local market strategies to attract new clients, prioritizing checking, money market, and CD portfolios.

  • Portfolio Expansion: Identify and pursue internal and external referral opportunities to ensure consistent growth.

Community Engagement & Partnership

  • Brand Awareness: Actively participate in local nonprofit initiatives, community events, and networking functions to develop new leads.

  • Center of Influence (COI): Build and maintain strong partnerships with local businesses and professional groups to expand your referral network.

Relationship Management & Collaboration

  • Seamless Transitions: Onboard new clients and transition them to branch teams for long-term servicing while maintaining a high-touch relationship for future referrals.

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Business Bankers, Ag Bankers, Mortgage Officers, and Trust Officers to deliver a holistic, "one-stop" client experience.

  • Client Satisfaction: Maintain proactive communication to identify evolving financial needs and ensure long-term retention.

Compliance, Risk & Reporting

  • Operational Integrity: Ensure all interactions comply with internal policies and federal regulatory standards.

  • Data Management: Maintain precise and timely documentation within the CRM system.

  • Performance Tracking: Meet or exceed quarterly deposit growth targets and activity benchmarks while reporting on pipeline progress.

Candidate Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

  • Experience: 3–5+ years in relationship banking, business development, or financial sales.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in client acquisition and managing a diverse financial portfolio.

  • Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of personal banking products, credit products, and banking regulations.

Skills & Behaviors

  • Communication: Advanced oral and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial solutions clearly.

  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results with limited direction.

  • Ethics: Expert-level ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of business ethics.

  • Mindset: A team player who is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and motivated by the ability to make a tangible impact on the organization's success.

Compensation & Exceptional Benefits

Our client is dedicated to providing a professional and pleasant working environment. This placement offers a competitive salary and a premier benefits package, including:

  • 100% Employer-Paid Premiums: Full coverage for Health and Dental insurance for both the individual and family.

  • Financial Security: Life insurance for the employee and family, plus Health Savings Account (HSA) options.

  • Retirement & Time Off: Robust retirement plan options, along with generous paid vacation and sick time.

  • Career Development: Significant opportunities for professional growth and upward mobility.
