If you are bilingual (Spanish/English) and communicate effectively in both languages, have the ability to appear in court to represent clients(bar license), and work behind the scenes prepping their cases while using today's technology well, we'd love to get to know you

Up to $110,000 depending on experience.

Up to $110,000 DOE

• Meet with potential clients in Initial Consultations and assess our ability to assist the client
• Prepare and review immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustments prior to filing
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases
• Communicate with the court, USCIS, and ICE on behalf of clients
• Strategize and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS hearings
• Represent clients in removal proceedings: Master & Individual (Final) Hearings (Appear in immigration court: generally in Chicago or WebEx video, but also some travel may be necessary for other US immigration courts)
• The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills which allow for making/taking assignments and communicating effectively with a group in order to complete casework timely
• Stay abreast of changes to US immigration law and monitor country conditions in countries from which clients immigrate

• Bar licensed in any state (preference given to IN) or the ability to be licensed by the end of 2024
• Speaks and writes proficiently in both English and Spanish
• Immigration experience or strong desire to learn immigration law
• Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe programs is necessary (Experience with MyCase or other practice management software is helpful)
