    About the Job

    The Compliance Manager will be the primary liaison between Connected Arizona operations and our licensed partner, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on all compliance matters. This role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining compliance programs, inspections, and corrective actions. This is a full-time, onsite role and the Compliance Manager will work cross-functionally with all onsite teams to oversee safety and training programs, ensure compliance, and train personnel as needed. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Arizona cannabis compliance regulations and policies, and be a well organized, excellent communicator who is able to collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure that Connected Arizona operations remain safety and compliance focused.
    What You Will Do
    • Act as the primary liaison between Connected and Trulieve, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on compliance matters.
    • Ensure all AZDHS and Trulieve compliance requirements are met by creating, implementing and maintaining compliance programs as necessary.
    • Manage any Trulieve or AZDHS inspections, escorting inspectors and following up on corrective actions as needed.
    • Keep Trulieve's portal up to date each month with accurate and relevant information.
    • Process FA (Facility Agent) cards, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Interpret new law changes and regulatory updates and communicate their implications to key stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with relevant departments to implement necessary changes in compliance programs and procedures.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management regarding compliance status, issues, and recommendations.
    • Review labeling art changes for compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Work with Facilities Coordinator and Supply Chain to manage lab testing including any change orders and customer requests.
    • Oversee safety regulations and training programs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
    • Manage onsite security operations to ensure compliance with security protocols and regulations.
    • Work with various vendors to execute projects related to compliance and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to compliance activities.
    • Train relevant personnel on compliance procedures, ensuring a thorough understanding of requirements and protocols.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
    • Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve compliance strategies and processes.
    • Attend ADA meetings as a representative of Connected International.
    • Additional duties as assigned.
    What We Are Looking For
    • BA/BS Degree and/or 2-3 years' experience in compliance management
    • Excellent computer and mathematics skills, as well as data analysis; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
    • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills.
    • Experienced relationship with internal team and external partners.
    • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements.
    • Comfortable learning new technologies.
    • Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting and ability to recommend to management well thought out recommendations.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions with little supervision.
    • Safety and compliance focused.
    • Thorough knowledge of company's products and the cannabis industry.
    • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
    • Must be 21+ years of age.
    • Physical Requirements/Work Environment
    • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
    • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance
    • Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend and reach for the duration of shift
    • Requires manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
    • Requires normal hearing range
