Responsibilities
Perform engineering duties including planning, designing and construction supervision of buildings and water/sewage systems.
Duties May Include
- Assist in developing civil engineering plans including site layout, yard piping, paving, grading, and storm water management.
- Complete data entry and analysis using Excel and ArcGIS.
- Assist in utilities project permitting process including coordination with various government agencies.

- Prepare civil engineering technical memorandums and reports.
- Use geospatial and hydraulic software including ArcGIS, ICPR, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS to perform engineering assignments.
- Complete hydraulic calculations for pipelines, water pump stations, wastewater lift stations, and other water infrastructure.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and schedules for various water and wastewater master planning projects.
- Travel required approximately 3-5 days a week to domestic construction sites within the state for inspections.
Qualifications
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field. Plus two years of work experience as a Civil Engineer, Assistant Project Engineer, Staff Engineer, or a related occupation.
