    Job Title:

    Project Accountant

    About Us:

    Jaros, Baum & Bolles (JB&B) is a MEP engineering firm with headquarters in New York City and additional offices in Boston and Philadelphia.

    Role Overview:

    We are seeking a Project Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting Department in our New York office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Track project progress and identify discrepancies between milestones, hours, and amounts.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly project invoices, financial projections, job cost information, and budgets.
    • Collaborate with Project Managers and Partners to resolve billing issues and manage accounts receivable.
    • Ensure timely billing and collection of balances.
    • Develop and provide standard and custom reports for assigned projects.

    Requirements:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
    • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
    • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Experience with Deltek Vision ERP preferred.
