We're currently seeking a Service Support Analyst-Mid Level for the State of North Carolina's Department of Health & Human Services (NCDHHS). The selected candidate must be local to Raleigh, NC.

    The Service Support Analyst-Mid Level supports the NC Medicaid Infrastructure Team Manager in organizing, servicing, and deploying technological equipment. This includes computers, Cisco telephone/network, laptops, printers, copiers, scanners, eFax, and other technologies for the Division of Health Benefits (DHB) employees, contractors, and temporary workers. The role is also the primary contact for troubleshooting and repairs.

    JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Assist in managing division computers and related equipment and software, including deployment and return of desktops, laptops, printers, and all peripherals.

    Serve as a delegated administrator for the North Carolina ID (NCID) system, helping with creating, deactivating, unlocking, and resetting NCID accounts for DHB staff, which integrates with the creation of email accounts in our Active Directory known as EADS.

    Support the telephone system by deploying phones to offices and conference rooms, managing tickets for phone setup for new and existing staff, and troubleshooting phone issues.

    Manage state cell phone deployment and oversight.

    Utilize the ServiceNow ticketing system to handle IT requests from DHB users, monitor these requests, and document the resolutions.

    Assist in tracking DHB IT inventory using the WASP Inventory Tracking System and adhere to established processes.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2+ Years of Experience in IT Support, troubleshooting, servicing, and deploying computers, Cisco telephone/network, laptops, printers, copiers, scanners, eFax, and other technology.
    • 2+ Years of Experience as an Active Directory or NCID Administrator for onboarding and offboarding, setting up email accounts, and assisting with passwords and resets. Experience with MS365 is also required.
    • 2+ Years of Experience as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and repairs, with excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • 2+ Years of Experience using an IT Ticketing System like ServiceNow to resolve requests and document work.
    • Desired: 2+ Years of Experience providing telephone system support for DHB staff including deploying phones to offices and conference rooms and assisting network and server teams as needed.
    • Nice to Have: 1+ Year of Experience in Inventory Management of Hardware, laptops, tablets, network equipment, servers, and cell phones.
