    ModMed is based in Boca Raton, FL, with office locations in Santiago, Chile, Berlin, Germany, Hyderabad, India, and a robust remote workforce with team members across the US.

    ModMed is hiring a driven Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and development of ModMed's Payment Platform, one of our fastest-growing shared platforms.

    This is a unique opportunity to join a team of talented individuals and influence the architecture and technical direction of a highly available, high-traffic, robust cloud based platform within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    ~10+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
    ~ Deep extensive Java/Spring Boot/SQL experience.
    ~ Experience with public cloud services, preferably AWS.
    ~ Full stack (backend, frontend, operations) technical leadership experience is a plus.
    ~ Proven experience designing, developing, and operating modern cloud-native, fault-tolerant distributed services.
