    Description

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients with mental health disorders, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
    • Prescribe and manage medication therapy for patients with psychiatric conditions, monitoring treatment effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary.
    • Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients individually or in group settings, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
    • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate care and support for patients.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision sessions as needed.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
    • Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry.
    • Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.
    • DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with patients.
    • Commitment to providing patient-centered care with empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
