Job summary
This position works as a team that comprises a group of athletic trainers and our sports medicine team physician to provide healthcare services to Beloit College. The job is responsible for performing assessments of injuries or conditions, prescribing exercises to strengthen muscles and improve flexibility,Provide practice game/event coverage for assigned area Respond to medical emergencies and provide assessment stabilization and first aid. Make recommendations for athletic participation return to sport guidelines Complete accurate documentation of assessment referrals Refer athletes to physician continued care per protocol Perform manual techniques utilize taping bracing relieve symptoms improve function Collaborate with sports medicine providers physicians other allied health professionals May work in clinic setting with physician under direction physical therapist.
