Synopsys hardware assisted verification products, covering emulation and FPGA prototyping, are enabling key use cases including RTL verification, SW/HW validation, performance and power optimization. Synopsys Verification IP products enable verification of key interface IP titles for vertical markets like high-performance computing, automotive and consumer. The Senior Director of Product Management will be managing a team responsible for product management, including product direction, field enablement and outbound marketing for HW-assisted verification and verification IP. The success of the role will be measured by growing the product leadership position and reaching the business targets.

    Responsibilities and Duties:
    • Responsible for leading a dedicated team driving the entire product life cycle of HW-assisted verification and verification IP products including definition, roadmap, EOL to meet business objectives.
    • Drive team of product managers to be the primary interface between key customers, sales, SW and HW R&D teams responsible for aligning technology development with market requirements.
    • Able to understand customer use cases in vertical markets working with team of product managers and creating convincing value narratives.
    • Works with business development and senior executives in the business unit to strengthen key customer relationships through clear articulation of value propositions and roadmaps.
    • Works across Synopsys business units to leverage the full breadth of Synopsys technologies to increase customer value.
    Qualifications:
    • MS or BS EE with 10+ years of management experience and 20+ years product management, product marketing or business development experience. MBA is a plus.
    • Experience in driving and selling verification HW products for the semiconductor and systems industry.
    • Expertise in vertical segments such as data center, automotive, AI or others is a plus
    • Experience in managing team driving product management for larger revenue product lines with revenues of $100M+.
    • Ability to develop and manage relationships with key sales executives internally and customers externally.
    • Ability to understand complex technology and translate into convincing customer conversations.
    • Experience in creating and executing business development plans.
    • Technical orientation and understanding of SoC verification process is required.
    • Innovative, energetic leader with decisive style with attentiveness to current and future customer and market trends.
    • Proven ability to work in a matrix environment with strong organizational and program management skills.
    • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
    • Experience in the EDA and/or FPGA industries is a plus.
    • Interest to travel worldwide.

    The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $251,000-$377,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
