Job Title: Senior Level II IT Site Support Specialist

Contract to perm

Location: Doylestown, PA - Hybrid (candidate must have a car and able to drive to local facilities on occasion).

Certification preferred, not required but if the candidate has a cert please include year and if/when they expired and if planning to renew.

MSP installs phone, cabling. Main focus now is IT support for their customers users. Doctors office, hospitals, local governments. Moving towards cyber security soon. Independent trouble shooting skills is key Personal and professional communication skills are a must. Documentation skills required for client tickets.

Clients do not use a lot of "backend systems".

We are seeking an IT Level 2 MSP Technician with 10+ years of experience to join our team. Their responsibilities will include efficiently evaluating, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, both remote and onsite, along with maintaining meticulous ticket records. They will excel in independently addressing service tickets with technical expertise and will offer flexible support to ensure client satisfaction. They will also mentor Level 1 technicians and monitor ticket assignment and completion. This will require outstanding personal communication skills and proven management ability.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Deploying and managing Windows Servers and Active Directory

· Designing Local Area Networks

· Skilled with Windows, Sharepoint, Cisco Equipment, and LAN/WAN Support

· Implementing and monitoring network security

· Optimizing and maintaining network software and hardware

· Building and deploying file servers and cloud computing solutions

· Performing network infrastructure troubleshooting

· Manage Microsoft 365 Tenancies

· Monitors alert systems and take appropriate action as per guidelines

· Ability to use various messages in an event log to affect repairs

· Receive escalated service requests requiring an enhanced response

· New User On-boarding

· Managing Level I IT technicians, monitoring ticket assignment and completion

· Participation in after-hours and weekend on-call rotation

Qualifications & Requirements

· Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and is comfortable working with clients at a business level to understand their current and historic issues regarding their business and technology

· Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills

· Experience writing proposals for and implementation of technical solutions to fulfill business needs

· Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player

· Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems

· Experience with RMM (remote monitoring and management) tool a plus, such as Ninja or Connectwise.

· Experience with a PSA (ticketing system) tool a plus, such as Connectwise.

· Ability to problem solve at a high level, extraordinary customer service skills, strong multi-tasking, and organizational skills

· Having worked in an MSP environment is a major plus.

Ideal Qualifications (not required)

· CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+ ( include dates)

· MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) MCITP Microsoft Certified IT Professional, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)

Will need a valid driver license, functioning vehicle and will be subject to passing a background check.
