    Job DescriptionPrismHR creates exceptional software and services, empowering human resource outsourcing service providers such as Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) and Administrative Service Organizations (ASOs) to deliver world-class HR, Benefits and Payroll to small and medium-sized businesses.
    You will apply your payroll/PEO expertise and QA experience to improve the quality of the PrismHR product.
    *PEO industry, payroll and benefits software experience is an absolute must for this role.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Apply deep PEO / HR domain / payroll / benefits experience in developing, documenting, and executing detailed and comprehensive test scenarios for PrismHR products. Anticipating how "real world" users interact with our software from a variety of roles (i.e., administrator, end user, etc.)
    • Apply industry standard quality assurance practices, including but not limited to test case design, software defect reporting, and Agile testing techniques, as well as common software QA tools
    • Enhance the collective industry understanding of the entire QA team and their ability to create realistic test scenarios, through occasional training and mentoring of peers on PEO subject matter
    • Contribute to creation of realistic test data
    • Delivers and tracks progress to testing schedules, within aggressive "time-to-market" driven project environments, sometimes across parallel projects
    • Collaborates within QA team and across product development on process improvement initiatives
    • Regularly summarizes testing status and areas of risk, and wherever possible proposes and executes upon mitigation strategies. Employs a sound risk management approach to determine an optimum, well-structured and comprehensive test strategy for assigned projects
    • Interfaces with automation engineers to identify and prioritize areas for significant efficiency and confidence gains through test automation
    • Analyzes, tracks, and reports on application issues and maintains documentation on project issues and defect metrics
    REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
    • 3+ years of deep experience within the PEO industry, coupled with significant hands-on experience with software applications commonly used within the PEO industry, including but not limited to payroll and benefits management
    • College degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science
    • Excellent troubleshooting ability.
    • Strong team player with a "can do" attitude. Routinely demonstrates flexibility and is a very capable multi-tasker. Possesses solid organizational and time management skills.
    • Possesses strong current software development best practices (Agile), and in particular, the software testing discipline, in applying deep domain experience
    • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. Very comfortable at documenting and conveying standard operating procedures
    • Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
    • PC and/or Mac savvy, from an end user perspective. Highly comfortable using browser based software applications and office application suites.

    PrismHR is a fast-paced SaaS company which provides customers with a cloud-based payroll process software application. PrismHR also provides professional services including system implementation consulting, custom configurations, and training. Lastly, via the Company's Marketplace platform customers and end users access other human resources and employee benefits applications from PrismHR's Marketplace Partners.
