    Vernovis is looking for a Web Application Developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications within our client's development team. Successful candidates will ensure applications meet the business requirements established for any specific development project.

    What You'll Do:

    • Understand and resolve issues with existing applications.
    • Troubleshoot issues not only in code but at every step involved in the application including Browser, Web Server (IIS), code, and Database.
    • Work with various project members to determine requirements for new applications.
    • Author complex web applications in Visual Studio.Net using the most current technologies.
    • Utilize SQL queries/stored procedures to manipulate stored data.
    • Evaluate 3rd party code and applications and integrate those into a solution where appropriate using the client's infrastructure and technology partners.
    • Test and deploy developed solutions.
    • Identify and escalate technical issues; take corrective actions to ensure long-term resolution.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement within the firm's infrastructure and technology
    • Stay current on technology trends and make recommendations for upgrade paths of existing technologies.
    • Prepare and maintain high-level system documentation.
    • Maintains positive contact with the office personnel and clients.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    What You'll Have:

    • Minimum 2-3 years development experience.
    • Ability to develop using Microsoft Visual Studio.Net, C#, Java, Object Orientated Design, .Net Core, MVC.
    • Ability to understand and modify existing code in HTML, ASP, and ASP.Net 1.1, VB.Net, JSON.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, specifically with IIS and Log Files.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server, the ability to write SQL queries, and use Enterprise Manager/Management Studio.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft TFS/Azure DevOps.
    • Possess a combination of formal education and technical educational track.
    • Knowledge of legal environment and applications is a plus.
    • Be a contributing member in a team-oriented environment.
    • Have a good working knowledge of object-oriented concepts and application design principles.
    • Ability to communicate with management and end users in a non-technical manner.
