- A High School education or equivalent is the minimum requirement but prefer at least an Associate's degree from a recognized technical/community college.
- The willingness and ability to work outside in various weather conditions and perform the physical requirements of the job such as; bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs. The individual will be very safety conscious when working with and around chemicals, show initiative, have excellent attention to detail, be results oriented and customer focused, possess good communication skills, and possess the ability to work in a team environment. The individual must also be able to prioritize tasks and be self-motivated.
- Warehouse material handlers unload box trailers and trucks, handle packages, stock shelves/storerooms, move drums and totes.
- The warehouse material handler may be required to operate forklifts, yard tractor, fill tanks and containers, and operate plant equipment.
- Helps Logistics operation in Warehouse store and stage drums for orders.
- Maintenance activities, such as performing equipment inspections and operational checklists require skill and dexterity. Must be able to operate a forklift truck, yard tractor and railcar mover.
- Notifies supervisor or team leader of any unusual situation that may require attention.
- Keeps assigned equipment and work area clean and orderly. Completes a daily housekeeping area.
