    We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer of the company and closely with the rest of the team.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts; research customer accounts using company records and resources that are made available; investigate historical data for each debt or bill;
    • Conduct custom collections campaigns on each client that consist of emails, phone calls, and standard mail correspondence;
    • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording AR data;
    • Perform MOR activity reconciliations;
    • Handles phone calls from customers;
    • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and accurately posted; and
    • Assists on special projects and other duties as assigned by leadership.

    Skills and Attributes:

    • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, collection process;
    • Ability to work autonomously and within a team consistently meeting deadlines;
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
    • Strong analytical abilities and excellent mathematical skills;
    • Advanced computer skills (MS Word and Excel); and
    • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and all levels of the organization

    Education/Experience:

    • High School diploma;
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred but not mandatory;
    • 2 years' experience in an accounting;
    • Experience working on an ERP system, MFG Pro ideal;
    • Reasonable expertise updating, creating and working within spreadsheets;
