Tasks Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion. Develop new accounts and enhance relationship with existing accounts in US/CA region through adjacent market &sales activities. Be knowledgeable about the product, capable to emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems. Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements. Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors to close sales opportunities and resolve customer complains. Ability to bring sales forecast, market trends analysis and advise sales strategy accordingly. Required qualifications Minimum Bachelor's in Science or Engineering or equivalent Master's degree is preferred. 5+ years sales related experience in ophthalmic industry. Experience in lab operation and vacuum coating industry is desired. Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills to effectively work with a variety of people and personalities. Able to communicate clearly and effectively in person and in writing internally and externally. Ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions independently, effectively, and creatively within established company guidelines. Strong organizational skills and an ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate, delegate, and manage work simultaneously. Considers needs and feelings of others and appropriately responds to different situations. Works collaboratively within a group in order to achieve a common goal. Utilizes effective approaches for choosing a course of action for developing appropriate solutions. Presents information, analysis, and ideas in writing in a clear and concise manner; speaks clearly so that others can hear and understand what is being said. Domestic and international travel minimum 50% time which may include long hours and non-traditional work schedules. Speaks and understands English.
