    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

    We are currently seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team in Albany, New York, for a four-month contract. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation, dispensing, and management of medications. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist pharmacists in prescription preparation, including counting, labeling, and retrieving medication.
    • Process prescriptions using computer software.
    • Manage medication inventory and place orders to ensure adequate supply levels.
    • Handle pharmaceutical pre-packaging and compounding under the supervision of a pharmacist.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety policies.
    • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and aiding patients with prescription-related inquiries.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.

    Shift:

    • Rotating Days/Evenings:9:00am - 5:00pm; 2:00pm - 10:00pm.
    • One weekend coverage per month.

    Requirements:

    • Pharmacy technician experience (will consider trainees)

    Compensation:

    • Starting pay at $17/hour
