- Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation, user guides, how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets, and instructions.
- Explain scientific and technical ideas in simple language.
- Work with customers to translate their functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Ensure documentation adheres to established style guides, standards, and templates, and maintain a consistent writing style across various materials.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a document repository and knowledge management system to facilitate easy access and retrieval of technical documentation.
- Support project managers in tracking documentation deliverables, milestones, and deadlines, and ensure timely completion of all documentation tasks.
- Education: Bachelors, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Minimum 10 years of technical writing experience assurance experience.
- Preferred Skillset/Experience:
- Proven ability to distill complex information into clear, concise text.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills and ability to work independently and deliver accurate content under deadline pressure.
- Experience designing and delivering developer-oriented documentation as well as working directly with development teams.
- Experienced using multiple tools to develop base templates and manipulate output styles.
- Possess a thorough understanding of software development (SDLC), IC ITE, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and other key IT terminology.
- Five years in a technical or lead writing role.
- Ability to multi-task and shift with changing priorities and projects.
- Clearance Level: TS/SCI
- Required Certification(s):
- 8570 IAT II (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND or SSCP)

The likely salary range for this position is $132,759 - $179,615. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
