The role of the Nurse Manager involves managing 2 long-term care units/skilled nursing facilities.You are part of the leadership team and will have responsibility, authority, and 24-hour accountability for the management of our residents/patients and all employee assigned to your units.
You will be mentoring, teaching, and following up with staff to validate care processes that are being followed. Required Qualifications:
Education sufficient for licensure
Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
2 years as an RN in LTC, Transitional Care Unit, or comparable setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nursing
Advanced certification in Minimum Data Set-Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS-RAI), process and completion by the American Association of Post-Acute Nursing upon hire
Supervisory experience with certified nursing assistants and licensed nurses
