- Responsible for accurate reporting of casino financial information by complying and
- maintaining reconciliations of specific balance sheet accounts.
- Responsible for following and adhering to Casino Accounting Department policies and
- procedures to meet NGC MICS, GCB Regulations, and Caesars Entertainment Laughlin ICS
- Maintain Fixed Assets; balance to general ledger, track projects, disposals and transfers, and CER's
- Maintain and reconcile specific Balance Sheet accounts monthly
- Print and review system generated reports for accuracy
- Prepare and submit specific journal entries with appropriate documentation for approval
- Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and annual GCB MICS, ICS are accomplished
- Interact with other Corporate Shared Services and other departments as necessary for inquiries, paperwork, etc.
- Document any variations, investigations, etc.
- Prepare specific accruals
- Assist with SOX Compliance
- Assist as necessary with month end closing
- Assist with annual tax preparation and filing
- Maintain files related to specific reconciliations
- Notify Supervisor immediately of unusual findings
- Must have a full understanding with and comply with NGCB MICS, Tropicana Entertainment Laughlin ICS
- Must provide Family Style Service to Guests & Team Members
- All other duties assigned

Job DescriptionSUMMARY: The Accountant is responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements, and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
Must have strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and const cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Must possess knowledge of financial and accounting software applications, and working knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, LMS, CMS, Oasis, SQL, Kronos, Infinium, and Access.
