Medical Assistant, Family Medicine/Multispecialty- Pembroke - Brigham & Women's Physicians Organization(BWPO)
Description
Bonus - New, full-time Medical Assistant hires are eligible for a one-time, taxable bonus of $750.00 to be paid out after the successful completion of the first 90 days of employmentAbout Us
Brigham and Women's Harbor Medical Associates, a member of Mass General Brigham Medical Group, is a multispecialty, primary care practice with more than 65 physicians. We have several offices across the South Shore and are affiliated with Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center, and South Shore Hospital.
We believe that patient care comes first. Our physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff recognize the importance of prompt, expert, and compassionate care for patients whose needs span from general health maintenance to treatment for complex medical problems.
Our Team
Brigham and Women's Health Care Center in Pembroke is a multi-level facility spanning 30,000 square feet. Located at 15 Corporate Park Drive, the center includes primary care/family medicine (all ages), obstetrics and gynecology, as well as a multi-specialty clinic (pulmonary, vascular, and urology).
Are you ready to bring your talent to this team and join us in moving community-based ambulatory care forward?
The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support this multispecialty building onsite Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:30pm. As true partners to our providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the care team. Clinical support staff members will be expected to rotate specialties, depending on their assignment that day. Therefore, the ideal candidate profile is an experienced, adaptable Medical Assistant who is confident in their clinical abilities and genuinely enjoys variety. We ideally aim to have our clinical support staff members working 1:1 or 1:2 with assigned providers, but they do cross-cover, rotate, and collaborate with other providers as needed. They can see upwards of 20+ patients per day.
Responsibilities include:
Qualifications
Qualifications
When hiring, we look for candidates who possess not only relevant qualifications, skills, and competencies, but also positive attitudes, empathy, and genuine passion for the work.
Mass General Brigham is an Equal Opportunity Employer. By embracing diverse skills, perspectives, and ideas, we choose to lead. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religious creed, national origin, sex, age, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, military service, genetic information, and/or other status protected under law.
