    How You Care for Our Patients

    As a Recovery Support Navigator, you will explore treatment recovery options with individuals, helps clarify goals and strategies, provides education and resources, and assists individuals in accessing treatment and community supports. Responsibilities include:
    • Motivational interviewing to assist individual in setting goals regarding their mental health and recovery
    • Assists individuals to identify and access treatment and resources in the community.
    • Attend meetings including treatment planning, employment services and community engagements.
    • Interacts with individuals 1:1 to assess needs, provide psychoeducation, discuss problems, identify patterns and stressors, and encourage growth and development.
    • Lead psychoeducational groups regarding recovery.
    • Liaisons between community supports and individual.
    • Provides practical supports including aid with transportation or other tasks to support recovery.
    • Engages in weekly supervision.
    • Completes administrative tasks required such as treatment plan and notes.
    • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

    You Bring Meaningful Experience

    Successful candidates will have the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
    • Bilingual [English + Spanish], Bicultural encouraged to apply.
    • Experience and proficiency in understanding about treatment and recovery from substance use disorders, including, but not limited to, an understanding of addiction services and resources available in the geographic area where they will serve.
    • Ability to communicate with all levels of internal staff and outside collaterals; exposure to data/ information which must remain confidential; flexibility in work hours and project assignments.
    • Must understand the population and information sensitivity.
    • Must have own mode of transportation and spend considerable works hours out of office in community organizations and client homes.
