- Coordinate nursing functions with doctors, patients and other interdisciplinary team
- Assess and evaluate patients in accordance with doctor's order
- Report changes and findings
- Ensure comfort to patients through compassionate nursing care.

- Provide and supervise specialized training programs for nursing staff.
- Ensure quality standards of the highest degree in nursing activities.
- Comply with facility standards and practices in nursing care issues.
- Comply with Federal, State and Local regulations.
- Plan and implement schedules for the nursing staff on a daily basis.
- Maintain and manage clinical competencies in nursing staff.
- Supervise nursing staff in carrying out patient care duties
- Monitor ongoing performance of the nursing staff

• Have at least 1 year experience in Long-term care
• Be a Registered Nurse in good standing in the State of Connecticut.
• Be able to stand for prolong period of time.
• Be able to lift at least 50lb.
• Knowledge of Pointclickcare Emar
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of electronic medical record
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have great organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, while being flexible and quickly adept to change
• Position requires good intuition, judgment, and discipline and must be creative and proactive, yet disciplined in professional approach at all times.
• Current CPR certification required
• Have IV certification
