    Description

    Our client is a Series A Startup in the industrial kitchen automation/food-robotics space, that is on a mission to automate the food production process and is backed by some of the most well known VCs in the bay area.

    They help some of the largest "fast casual" restaurants in the US automate their kitchens and are seeking a Senior SDET with test automation experience, as well as hardware-in-the-Loop expertise, to come in and help dictate how they do testing, patterns, best practices and frameworks, for their custom robotic kitchen make likes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze requirements and develop testing strategies for automated/manual tests.
    • Review product features and provide recommendations.
    • Implement automated regression tests for web and embedded apps.
    • Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.
    • Report defects and develop solutions
    • Work with hardware/software teams
    • Develop testing scripts and tools
    • Collaborate on the development of equipment controls for robotic systems.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of relevant experience.
    • Bachelors in computer science or equivalent.
    • Strong hardware/software/cloud knowledge.
    • Analytical mind with excellent debugging skills.
    • Work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Advocate for best practices throughout the SDLC

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience testing SAAS apps and consumer electronics.
    • javascript/Rust programming experience
    • Hands-on experience with embedded hardware.
    • Testing complex systems.
    • Familiarity with AWS, Github, Jira, and Notion.
