IMPORTANT information.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a budget analyst in the HQ AFRC Recruiting Services budget branch, performing a variety of budget functions involving the formulations, execution, and/or analysis of budgets and economic and cost analysis studies for substantive programs and support activities.

Duties

DUTY 1:
Leads and/or performs specialized, individual economic analyses and impact studies in support of a variety of budget programs.

DUTY 2:

Performs budget formulation work involving preparation of detailed analyses of annual and/or multi-year budget estimates for assigned organizations/programs into a consolidated budget request.

DUTY 3:

Performs budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources and types of funding, such as direct annual, multi-year, and no-year appropriations; apportionments; allotments; transfer of funds from other agencies; revenue from industrially funded operations; and refunds.

DUTY 4:
Provides advice, assistance, and guidance on budgeting and related information.

DUTY 5:
Conducts analyses, reviews, and special studies of budget and/or related information.

DUTY 6:
Uses automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments.
