    Position: Senior Program Manager - Healthcare Affordability

    Work Locations: Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI (mostly remote, LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)

    Term: 6 months with potential to extend

    Pay Range: $75 to $110/hr

    Required Skills/Experience: Healthcare Payer, HIPAA, budget/forecasts, large project experience ($2m+)

    Job Description:

    The Senior Program Manager is responsible for coordinating 7 projects tied to strategy around healthcare affordability. You will oversee multiple agile teams operating in an Integrated Delivery Model / Scaled Agile framework that requires integration with activities outside the scope of the agile teams. The focus of this role is primarily to ensure business activities align with technology delivery to achieve stated business outcomes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with Product Management & business stakeholders to define and understand program scope, milestones, and business outcomes
    • Develop a critical path/business milestones and timelines in partnership with business and Product Management
    • Manage executive stakeholder communications, including preparation and facilitation of Executive Steering Committees
    • Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demo, and Solution Demo to ensure alignment across multiple ARTs and business divisions
    • Support the Product Managers, Product Owners and Business Readiness representatives in managing expectations for program deliverables
    • Financial Management for Programs to ensure appropriate expenditures are applied to the program

    Qualifications:

    • 8 years of similar experience with a minimum of 5 years working with large projects of $2m or more
    • Healthcare payer experience including knowledge of HIPAA transactions
    • Proven experience overseeing software development projects and ensuring objectives, goals, and commitments are met
    • Development and management experience for program budgets including forecasts and actual spend
    • Experience with Agile Project Management tools such as Apptio Targetprocess (ATP), Jira, Rally, VersionOne, or similar
