Description
Progression Counseling Group is seeking an experienced mental health clinician who specializes in working with children ages Candidates must be licensed as a LSW (preferred) or LPC in the State of Ohio. As a youth specialist, you will primarily see children though will additionally see adolescents and adults. This position is hourly/W2, working a minimum of 16 hours/week if part-time or 25 hours/week if full time. Employees can choose their own schedule. The work location is hybrid requiring a minimum one day in our Willoughby Hills office and other work/days can be in your own, secure/private and professional home environment. Bonus pay ($10/hour more than regular rate) is paid out for all billable hours over 25/week.
Duties:
Provide evidence based psychotherapy to individuals ages 6 and up.
Ensure communication and facilitate sessions with guardians/parents of minors to gather information and update on minor client's progress towards treatment goals.
Complete intakes and other ongoing assessments and documentation such as diagnostic assessments, biopsychosocial assessments, mental status exams, various risk assessments, etc.
Effectively create, implement and review psychotherapy treatment plans using evidence-based practices and update every 90 days as required by insurance.
Ensure all documentation including intake assessments, progress notes, and termination notes are completed within 48 hours.
Maintain client's records as required by insurance and professional standards.
Complete treatment termination plans as required by insurance, professional standards and company policies.
Regular attendance at scheduled supervision and staff meetings.
Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, all relevant laws, regulations, ethics and standards of practice, including HIPAA
Skills:
Experience providing clinical services to children
One year post-licensure experience that includes working with children and teens.
Knowledge of and adherence to laws, regulations, ethics and standards of practice.
Knowledge of local community resources and alternative levels of care.
Ability to exhibit professionalism in all forms of communication and representation.
Experience assessing for risk, developing safety/crisis plans and crisis management.
Excellent documentation and time management skills.
