- The Registered Dietitian I is responsible to provide optimal medical nutrition therapy to patients, individuals or groups through comprehensive nutrition assessment and counseling for disease management, treatment and/or prevention.
- Defines nutritional status, makes recommendations and implements nutrition interventions.
- Required Licensure includes Registered Dietitian through CDR and licensure through the State of Florida, or successful completion of national registration and state licensure within 6 months of employment.
- Required - RD (Registered Dietitian) OR successful completion of national registration and state licensure within 6 months of employment.
- Required - Bachelor's Related Field
- Preferred - Master's Medical
- Preferred - 2 years experience in a related field
- Work independently; Work with a team
- Written and verbal communication skills; Work with minimal supervision
- Customer service skills; Computer skills appropriate to position
