Design, build, and maintain databases based on simple requirements
Support UX, middleware and backend database development efforts by collaborating with developers to define and implement technical designs that meet project requirements
Have frequent interactions with customers to gather input and feedback
Maintain and optimize Oracle databases to ensure their reliability, security, and performance
Monitor database health and performance, addressing any issues promptly
Work in an agile, fast-paced team, creatively solving customer requirement challenges
Operate with a high degree of independence and initiative, even with limited technical direction
Oracle Kubernetes JavaScript Docker Express Angular JS Linux Selenium JIRA Confluence Familiarity with AWS RDS Familiarity with database administrative tasks such as backups, database migrations and cloning and restoring (preferably using AWS RDS) Knowledge of PL/SQL Familiarity with SQL Developer session/sql monitoring tools Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite Experience working with Git for configuration management Experience working with the JSON format A bachelor's degree and five (5) years experience as a Database Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
Ten (10) years of experience required In lieu of bachelor's degree
Experience designing, building, and maintaining a database from simple requirements Oracle SQL experience and knowledge in areas such as creating tables, SQL queries using unions, joins (inner/outer), complex queries and views Familiarity with Oracle Row Level Security Experience with data ETL
