Education Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.Sign-on bonus & relocation package eligible
Board (PCB) level design of microprocessor based digital systems. ARM processors and microcontrollers, DDR RAM (DDR3, DDR4, LPDDR4) memory interfaces, and digital interfaces (e.g. Schematic and layout design of digital subsystems and components for Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
Substantial contribution to the generation and maintenance of electrical work products (i.e. schematic, printed wiring board layouts, specifications, design documentation, etc.) Develops and presents electrical requirements, concepts, designs, decisions and results to internal management, other organizations, teammates and external customers
Active participant in electrical reviews of electrical components, equipment, and systems.
Applies a strong understanding of the organizationally defined electrical processes throughout the lifecycle of the program or project.
Selects components and equipment based on project requirements.
Comfortable having regular contact with project leaders and Program Managers and Senior Managers including external customers.
Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects
