    The key skills we're looking for are MarComm experience with a technical product driven by cross-functional teams (preferably in paper/packaging or materials science industry), and strong project management experience to accelerate and drive MarComm workstreams forward.

    We are seeking a Marketing Contractor reporting to the Director of Marketing, Global Paper.

    You will be part of a high impact team consisting of experts that are skilled in marketing, focusing on the strategic areas of our business.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven background in marketing communications and the broader packaging landscape.

    With a holistic portfolio of containerboard and paperboard substrates, including Linerboard, Medium, Food and Beverage Paper, SBS, CNK, UUK, & CRB, Global Paper participates in a broad range of markets including food, foodservice, beverage, commercial print, liquid packaging, and tobacco.

    The packaging industry continues to evolve to meet the needs of brand owners, retail channels, legislation, and consumers.

    Your role will be responsible for advancing our Global Paper strategy and segment-level opportunities to maximize organic growth, profitability, and operational efficiency and flexibility.

    Your primary focus area will be supporting our global paperboard portfolio selling teams through commercial enablement.


    Responsibilities:

    • Work with key stakeholders, including Commercial, Strategy, Sustainability, and Marketing to lead the development and launch of commercial enablement initiatives
    • Lead creation, revision, and management of product guides and digital marketing materials, including translation into multiple languages to accommodate global markets
    • Partner with Corporate Communications team to update, maintain, and refresh Global Paper product and end-market webpages
    • Develop and maintain technical product support tools like product indexes and converting guidelines
    • Own on-demand digital resource library through content audits/revisions and digital asset management along with optimization through creation of Global Paper homepage
    • Lead and optimize paperboard product sample center through sheeted sample and printed collateral management/replenishment
    • Partner with commercial, content/design, and strategy teams to develop value-added selling tools, including printed/converted samples and digital campaign materials
    • Partner with commercial organization to develop market, industry, and product presentations for customer engagements
    • Drive a strong bias for action with the team and partner with stakeholders to ensure speed, efficiency, and effectiveness in Global Paper agenda execution
    Qualifications


    Highly capable in each of the following dimensions (among others): flexibility, adaptability, curiosity, resourcefulness, analytical thinking/problem solving, proactivity, collaboration, and technological savvy.


    • 5+ years of marketing communication experience- working in cross functional team environments
    • Bachelor's degree in related field
    • Superior project management and interpersonal skills
    • Passionate about identifying / building deliverables that solve customer and business problems
    • Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and prioritize time to maximize results
    • Team player who can build trust with internal and external stakeholders through a spirit of collaboration and partnership
    • Passion to win with customers and drive initiatives that differentiate *** in the marketplac
