    Responsibilities of this position include the following:
    • Prepare and deliver daily morning and afternoon snack to all classrooms
    • Manage food inventory and make sure all snack items are available
    • Meet all cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen area
    • Drive the Goddard 14-person bus to pick up after school children daily
    • Establish and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
    • Support each childs social and emotional development
    • Establish positive and effective staff relations
    • Work with the Director and with the entire faculty
    Qualifications
    • High school diploma required
    • Must be 25 years or older, have a valid Virginia drivers license, and have a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
    • Has great attention to detail
    • Flexibility to work with different tasks throughout the day
    • Shows empathy and compassion for young children
    • 1-2 years of previous teaching experience preferred
    • Meets background check eligibility
    • Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
