- BS/MS and 5+ years experience in a relevant scientific discipline (biology, bioengineering, chemical engineering, biochemical engineering).
- Experience with mammalian cell culture.
- Excellent communication, technical report writing, and presentation skills.
- Experience in statistics and data analysis (e.g. JMP, Spotfire)
- Participate in end-to-end Cell Line Development pipeline projects, including activities from vector design and construction to clonal cell lines ready for Master Cell Bank generation.
- Support CLD activities including clone selection, technology development, media development, process optimization, and process characterization studies.
- Support process improvements for increased speed and efficiency to generate highly productive, high quality, robust cell lines that meet all regulatory requirements with high quality documentation.
- Hands-on laboratory operations such as molecular biology, shake flask, bench scale bioreactor and novel culture platforms.
- Contribute to written technical reports, present in group meetings, and work cross-functionally to achieve common goals.
