    Description

    Leads facility and maintenance operations by identifying requirements, forecasting resources, providing oversight for construction projects, capital improvements and daily repair tasks to ensure safe and functional operation of the facility, property, and equipment. Supports production team by ensuring uptime on machinery and equipment. Assure timely completion of all tasks by providing direction to supervisors, technicians, and vendors. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met as well as supporting strategic goals.

    Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


    • Develop and implement a predictive and preventative maintenance program for all equipment and building systems.


    • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability in support of optimal production efficiency.


    • Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reducing equipment downtime.


    • Manages the maintenance personnel for all shifts as well as training, motivating and monitoring performance and skill levels of employees.


    • Arranges, coordinates, and manages appropriate third-party contractor support as needed.


    • Supports plans for infrastructure and capacity increases at facility.


    • Prepares Maintenance budget and secures estimates and cost quotes as needed.


    • Works closely with departments to schedule maintenance tasks.


    • Promotes continual improvement and advancement in equipment, facility and systems as it relates to technology and industry 4.0.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities, Engineering, Project, Construction or Operations Management preferred.
  • Associate's degree or technical degree in a related technical field may be substituted for 4-year degree based on additional years of experience.
  • Demonstrated contract review and negotiation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Can read and comprehend electrical, mechanical, and similar schematics/drawings.
  • Technically skilled in MS Office and other Windows based programs.
  • Must be a licensed driver with a good driving record (subject to MVR).
  • May be required to work after hours and on weekends.
