Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Facility Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout Dudley's. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of custodial and maintenance tasks that ensure our spaces are well-kept, functional, and inviting for staff, visitors, and clients alike. This role contributes directly to the positive experience within the bakery.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including lobby, offices, restrooms, and common spaces according to cleaning schedule.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Handle janitorial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene.
- Receive supplier orders and ensure product is properly accounted for and stored.
- Assist with maintaining and keeping clean all bakery machinery and equipment.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment.
- Maintain cleanliness logs and document completed tasks to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Experience with deep cleaning machinery is preferred, but training opportunities will be available.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
