Apex Systems is looking to hire an

AWS Architect

for one of their reputable telecommunications client they support. This position will sit

3 days onsite and 2 days remote in Charlotte, NC.

Contract length:

6+ months - potential to extend

Contract Rate:
$70+/hr W2

Must Have Requirements:
Can work onsite in Charlotte, NC

3 days a week (2 days remote)
6+ years of AWS Architect experience

building out blueprints/road maps
Containers experience

Kubernetes preferred
Experience with virtual machines/VMware


Overview:
Responsible for creating solutions and presenting compelling recommendations to customers.
Define operational procedures and practices
Define KPIs and set up appropriate health-checks, monitoring and escalation procedures
Accelerate development for roadmap features, to address specific customer requirements
Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, develop and implement mitigation measures.

Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the knowledge base, blogs, and brown bag lunches.

Capture project lessons and convert them into architectural best practices applicable to the broader install base; mentor and coach the internal team through internal training sessions.

Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to review customer requirements and feedback, and identify opportunities for platform enhancements
