Description
Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a BE/BC Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist to join its team of highly skilled surgeons in the Division of Surgical Oncology.
The ideal candidate will be BE/BC in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery with sub-specialty training in Head & Neck Surgery from an accredited program.
Academic involvement in Memorials ACGME-accredited general surgery residency training program will be strongly encouraged.The incumbent will have the opportunity to practice the full breadth of ablative, reconstructive, complex airway, and skull base surgery with a wide variety of complex pathologies Complementing the Division of Surgical Oncology, Memorial Healthcare System has comprehensive programs, including Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology, located onsite.
In addition, our multidisciplinary team includes radiation and medical oncologists with specific head and neck expertise.This is a full-time employed position with the Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
Memorial Cancer Institute holds numerous certifications including, Commission on Cancer, ASCO-Quality Oncology Practice (QOPI), Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), and American College of Radiology (ACR) for Radiation Oncology.
In addition, Memorial Cancer Institute has a unique partnership with Florida Atlantic University (MCIFAU) and is designated as a State of Florida Cancer Center of Excellence, one of only six in the state.
