    • As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering superior customer service to our 70+ retail store locations nationwide and corporate offices.
    • Under direct supervision, you will install, maintain, test, and repair systems and networks, providing first-level technical support to the organization.
    • You will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, documenting, and inventorying the environment, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of computer systems and related equipment.
    Responsibilities:
    • Provide basic problem solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems for department users.
    • Perform routine technical assistance and maintenance duties.
    • Maintain and update record-keeping systems, document projects, and maintain user instructions.
    • Assist with tracking inventory levels of equipment and materials.
    • Perform routine technological systems support, maintenance, and testing.
    • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, workstations, and related equipment.
    • Place service calls/orders with established support vendors.
    • Track work orders/tickets for proper support resolution.
    • Dispatch/escalate any unresolved support-related issues with the team.
    • Respond to calls/tickets and complete investigations in a timely manner.
    • Analyze and recommend ways to improve the efficiency of service.
    • Create internal and external procedures to help improve and maintain the quality and efficiency of services offered.
    • Participate in project reviews and perform other duties as assigned by VP of IT.
    • Maintain currency of knowledge with respect to technology, equipment, laws, regulations, standards, and/or systems.
    Requirements:
    • Knowledge of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
    • Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to determine and resolve basic computer problems.
    • Retail industry background preferred.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple goals and responsibilities.
    • A reliable self-starter with the ability to work independently.
