We are looking for someone with auditing experience for a hybrid Senior Financial Analyst job Chicago near the Chicago O'Hare airport This position is onsite 3 days a week and remote 2.

In this newly-created role, you'll work with a large equipment manufacturer. You'll work on different projects such as auditing, looking for discrepencies, new product launches, month-end close, calculating commissions, P&L, balance sheets, automating processes, and the quarterly business plan.

Job Overview:

• Prepare monthly financial reporting package, including cost variances
• Manage the monthly close process, including revenue recognition, COGs, deferred revenue, warranty accrual, account receivable, cash account, & inventory balance
• Prepare Journal entries
• Complete account reconciliation
• Develop the budget and outlook
• Complete the financial planning and analysis for the annual business plan and quarterly outlooks

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years professional experience
• Able to work onsite 3 days a week
• Experience with BPC, Power BI, SAP (COPA data, KE24), SQL, or Planatir a plus
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables)
