Michael Baker International is seeking a Civil Engineering Student Intern to support our Aviation Team working under the supervision of an aviation project manager on a variety of design and construction projects in our Columbia, SC office.

The selected individual will assist project managers, engineers, and designers in completing technical tasks on projects as assigned and will learn the profession as duties are performed, including:
Develop an understanding of FAA Advisory Circulars for Airport Design & ConstructionDesign of airfield geometry, pavements, airfield lighting & associated detailsPreparation of engineering related calculations and basic reportsDevelop an understanding of the engineering consulting industry and project stakeholdersField Investigations, data collection, and inputPROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTSCurrently enrolled in good academic standing and pursuing a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering at an accredited University or College; minimum of 2 years of coursework completedProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with AutoCAD or Microstation software is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
