Summary/objective

The Shop Apprentice is involved in the rebuilding, repair and quality checking of various medical equipment and machines in the histology/pathology space.

Essential functions

• Assisting with rebuilding various medical equipment to meet deadlines in our onsite shop
• Preparing machine panels for painting
• Cleaning of parts and components
• Quality testing and preparation of equipment
• Assembling components and kits for stock requirements
• Prepping equipment for shows and workshops
• Transporting and delivering equipment
• Parts Harvesting from Unit Tear Downs
