    HealthTronics seeks an accomplished Director of Business Development for our Western region. This role involves developing innovative ideas to establish new physician-based ventures and partnerships, focusing on stone management including ESWL, laser, and office-based stone centers. Collaboration with Business Operations and Clinical Operations teams will be essential to achieve target metrics.

    This position requires up to 50% travel to support territories:

    • California
    • Washington
    • Oregon
    • Nevada
    • Idaho
    • Utah

    Essential Functions:

    • Maintain relationships with physicians and identify potential business partners.
    • Develop strategic initiatives, assess new markets, and analyze business opportunities.
    • Conduct research on acquisition targets using physician and customer relationships, market knowledge, and available resources.
    • Negotiate strategic arrangements and partnerships, and close deals.
    • Increase physician involvement in current and new business.

    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
    • 2+ years of experience in medical device, business development, or pharmaceutical sales. Urology experience is beneficial.
    • Ability to understand and analyze financial models.
    • Superior communication skills for successful interactions at all levels.
    • Self-starter with excellent time management skills.

    Physical/Mental Requirements:

    • May involve considerable standing, walking, and driving.
    • Occasional walking, standing, bending, and reaching when performing tasks.
    • Light lifting up to 25 pounds on rare occasions.
    • Extensive travel throughout the assigned region, occasional weekend obligations.
    • Availability to attend meetings outside normal business hours.
    • Many overnight stays, flexibility in schedule required.
    • Risk of occupational electrical and radiation exposure in clinical environments.
