- Manage projects to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct inland and coastal resource area delineations, special resource habitat surveys, and NLEB surveys
- Oversee environmental compliance during project execution
- Conduct field and desktop assessments and produce technical reports
- Conduct peer reviews to support various boards and commissions
- Evaluate project environmental impacts, suggest mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance
- Participate in business development activities
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff members
- Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, policy, biology, or related field
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) certification or eligibility for certification
- Demonstrated understanding of wetland regulatory programs at local, state, and federal levels
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with public presentations
- Familiarity with GPS equipment and data collection
- Ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ArcMap, and relevant software
