    Service Technicians // Hot & Cold Service Technicians

    Technician Pay: $32-45/hr ($67,000-$94,000/year) + Potential Bonus Dependent on Market

    Schedule: Exact hours differ by market, 7:00am-4:00pm is typical. Rotational on-call. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary, depending on a candidate's market.

    Experience Required: Employer is looking for 3-5 years of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, Commercial HVAC service. EPA Universal (or EPA I & II) and/or CFESA certification preferred. Tech24 is seeking "van ready" technicians -- we are not looking for apprentice or entry level candidates. In addition, they are not interested in "job hoppers" -- they're looking for consistency in work history.

    Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
    • Inspects the commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation.
    • Communicates with customer and branch staff regarding status of repairs to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customers.
    • Completes service tickets according to procedures.
    • Tracks truck stock to ensure needed parts are stocked on vehicles.
    • Sustains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.
    • Sets a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by being a Company advocate.
    • Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
    • 3-5 years of related experience
    • Superb customer service skills
    • Dependable and able to work independently.
    • Standard computer skills
    • Own industry's standard hand tools
    • Ability to travel extensively within the region.
    • Ability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays for on-call rotation with your department (frequency varies with department size)
    • Mechanically inclined with a hunger to learn new techniques and approaches.
    • Universal EPA certification preferred.
